In accordance with Safety Operations Bulletin 6 – all members are reminded to make immediate notification to the on-duty Safety Battalion Fire Chief at 202-673-6432 whenever a member is injured or becomes ill on-duty. The member’s Battalion Management Team should also be made aware. The on-duty Safety Battalion Fire Chief will report to the scene to investigate the injury or illness and can assist in appropriate transport decision making, in accordance with our medical protocols. Members are also reminded that only three facilities are transport destinations for our members (H 4, H 13, PFC).
